Entertainment

Readings of Robert Burns’ poems in their traditional old Scots will be given by MIT students (don’t worry – translations will be provided!).  Among others, this will include the famous ceremonial ‘Address To The Haggis” said immediately before the meal begins.

Scottish Dancing

Some would consider it the highlight of the evening!  Try your hand at some traditional Scottish dancing and don’t worry if you’ve never done it before!  Instruction will be provided in many different traditional set dances – all you need is enthusiasm and energy!

Live Music By Tullochgorum

We are excited to welcome back to Burns supper four-piece Scottish Dance Band Tullochgorum for the second year.  They will provide live music throughout the evening.  Around Boston for more than 30 years, they sure know a thing or two about Scottish dancing!

Traditional Scottish Meal

A three-course traditional Scottish meal will be served, including the famous haggis, neeps and tatties. A full menu will be available here shortly.

What is a Burns Supper anyway?
